I got engaged! :) (the human, not the dog!)

Those of you who are friends with me on Facebook (or friends with Jasmine, My Favorite Pup) have probably noticed a guy popping up in a lot of my pictures with Jasmine.   

For the last year, I have been getting to know a wonderful guy, and 2 weeks ago, he decided to propose.  (and I said yes!)  :)

I know this blog is mainly about Jasmine, but a lot of my friends read it too, so I wanted to share.  If you are friends with me (CJ) and want to know how I met my boyfriend/ fiance, here's our story:

We're going to be doing the invites, collecting addresses, and doing the gift registry through that website.  (I love technology.)  

This is where he proposed... it was a gorgeous sunset up at the lake!  

 This is going to be Jasmine's new canine step-brother- his name is Chewy.  There's probably going to be a little bit of an adjustment period- as Jasmine gets used to living permanently with another dog!   (But hey- I'm going to have to get used to living with a guy roommate, so it's all good!)  ;)

For the record, Jasmine is really good with other dogs.  We've had many canine visitors for different amounts of time.  (We're frequently dog-sitting for friends/family.  And we've had foster dogs before.)  Jaz is fine with them being around.  But she just gets depressed if they steal her orange squeaky bone.  This old, ratty thing is like her teddy bear.  She's had it since she was a puppy.  She's got a lot of other toys, but this is one of her favorites.  Therefore, it gets put out of reach whenever we have company.  So... with a permanent dog living with us.... we're going to have to figure something out!   (Like make sure Chewy has his own toys!)

  So... things are going to be changing for us pretty soon.  :)   I'll be sure to keep you posted!   (and you can probably expect to be seeing a lot more pics of Chewy on this blog too.)  We'll see what dog tricks I can teach him!!  :)   (Right now, he knows how to sit.  So that's a good start!)  :)
