If some of you actually can read that, please let me know what it says!!
I looked it up on Google Translate, and it said:
"The dog "Jasmine" became world famous after this video : Havaneseren, Jasmine, tours the world with their human-like tricks for their participation in this youtube hit a video. Photo: MyFavoritePupJasmine""
So... that's more or less what it says! Pretty cool!! :) :) :
Are any of Jasmine's friends/ fans from Norway?? Jasmine is going to be featured in a Norwegian newspaper's website- called Dagbladet.no And HOPEFULLY, they are going to send me a copy of the post showing her trick video. (I requested it, and hopefully they will follow through!) I would love to see the article, even if I can't read the words! :) P.S. If any of you see Jasmine anywhere around the web, please let me know!! She sometimes ends up on the news and blogs that I don't know about. And it's fun to go check them out. Thanks my friends! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Who is almost ready for Christmas?? (We're not!) But to get me in the holiday spirit, I decided to post some pics of Jaz and one of her most popular videos "Dog Saves Christmas!" (This video always gets really popular around December- with a ton of comments.) One of the more amusing trains of conversation revolved around Jasmine only delivering one present to a house that had two dogs! And they wanted to know if that other dog was naughty. To tell you the truth, I didn't even notice that until someone pointed it out!! You'll notice from all the blooper footage at the end that sometimes you're just lucky to get what you get! And you have to piece it together to make it work!! I have a basic story line idea in my head, but nothing too elaborate! So, to answer their question, I don't know! I never thought about it before now!! ;) Merry Christmas to my friends all over the world! May you be filled with the peace, love, and joy that comes this time of year.
I think it's pretty obvious why I've been MIA for the past month. :)
I just got married, so I took a break from blogging. Obviously I had other things going on!!
I got my pictures back from the bridal shoot. (All taken by Paul Howalt Photography) There are some in here that I absolutely LOVE!!
(Like the one pictured above.) That's probably one of my favorites with Jasmine in it. :)
I like this one too... just walking along the temple grounds. They were in the middle of putting up the Christmas lights. But luckily, it wasn't too crowded the day we went to take pictures.
I got this idea from Pinterest, and wanted to recreate it with Jasmine!
I love this one too!! One of my favorite pics! Any guy I married was going to have to be a dog-lover. That's just a given!! Jasmine is such a big part of my life. We're kind of a package deal. ;) My new husband is very sweet, and Jaz just adores him. (She snuggles with him more than she does with me!!)
This one with the ring on Jasmine's nose turned out cute too. I can't decide which I like better.
I like this black and white one- taken in front of the Mesa, Arizona LDS (Mormon) Temple. I know Jasmine's not in it, but it's still going on my living room wall. We had to take a few with just us as a couple!! ;)
Her family is growing. I am getting married soon, and Jaz is also getting a doggy step-brother named Chewy! (who hopefully won't live up to his name!!) It was a name he earned as a puppy, but I'm really hoping he's out-grown the "chew on everything" phase!! We'll find out!
So- I won't be online much during November. I'll be a little busy!! Getting married, unpacking, and getting settled into our new life. (and training Chewy!!) But we'll be back. :)
So- take care friends!! Have a happy Thanksgiving!
This year Jaz is going to be a taco. Why? Because I think it's funny. She's only going to wear it when the trick-or-treaters come by. For the rest of the day today, she's sporting her festive Halloween sweater. :)
OK- so I'm one of those people who think they shouldn't start advertising for Christmas until after Halloween is over. But stores do it anyway. And this time, the advertising has my dog involved in it, so I feel like I have to share! There's a whole bunch of new pics of Jasmine up on Petsmart's website!
So my friend Mindy and I went on a wedding recon mission to discover a good place to take engagement photos. I originally was just going to take pics of the different possible locations, but then I decided to bring along my professional model. She might be a little furry, but then at least there would be a subject in each picture.
So... here's the possibilities I have to choose from. (And not based on how cute Jasmine is, let me know based on which BACKGROUND you like the best!!) ;) Don't let that furry cute dog sway your decision.
Which ones do you like best?
#1- Fountain w/ statue
#2- LOVE statue. (this is one of my fav's)
#3 Statue of guy w/ dog.
(I don't think we'll take our engagement photos here. I just had to recreate the pic w/ my dog!!)
Here's the full version.
(I needed my friend Mindy's help holding the treat to the side to get Jaz to look that way!!)
#4- Abstract art statue
Here's the full sized version.
#5- Pretty fountatins w/ greenery
#7- Chess/ Checkers set
#8- Walls... urban setting
#9- Rocks, small waterfall (which you can't really see)
#10- Man-made pond
#11- Park/ Ducks
#12- Large grassy area
#13- Tree w/ Fountain
#14- Weird statue
#15 - Staircase (urban setting)
So... what are your thoughts? (and keep in mind, I will be having a professional photographer take our pictures. These were just taken with my little camera.)
For those of you who know Jasmine, she's a treat ADDICT! Yes, I am a responsible dog owner, and monitor the number of treats she gets. However, that doesn't change the fact that she is rather obsessed with treats! For example, these SitStay packages came while the dogs were out getting groomed. When we got home, Toddy didn't even notice them. Jasmine goes STRAIGHT to the packages and starts sniffing. Then pawing at them. I told her to sit while I opened it. She just stared at the box.
I try to make sure my dogs are well trained and have manners. But once I give the release word, it's go time!!
These are dog chews that you get delivered to your door by Brown Beggers. We got to try out the Chew Sampler. I didn't get a better picture because I was trying to make sure Jaz didn't just rip through the brown paper to get to the treats inside!
Here's all the chews that were inside. (Toddy sat up and started begging for them while I was arranging them on the table.)
There were all sorts of different kind of bones, chews, dried meat patties, and jerky. Jaz hardly knew which to pick first. I let both dogs pick out their favorite treat. They both walked to separate corners of the room and started chewing on them.
I thought this was amusing. I couldn't figure out what was inside that long tube that was delivered to my door. (Check out Toddy in the background!!! He's trying to see if the chew treats were still on that table!!) (For the record, I had moved them to higher ground!!)
So... we figured out what was in the tube. Turns out it was a 3 foot long beef stick!!!! They do know my dog is only 1 foot long, right??
We got all these chews/treats through SitStay.com - it was their Brown Begger line. And after having both my dogs try them, I can say that they are Jaz tested, and Jasmine approved.
For the record, this post is sponsored by SitStay.com. I am being compensated for my review of the Brown Begger treats. However, I never review products that I wouldn't let my own dogs try. And all opinions shared on My Favorite Pup Jasmine's blog are my own, and I only share information on products that I feel are relevant to our friends/ blog readers.
